
Vermont Parks Forever, the nonprofit foundation for Vermont State Parks, is currently seeking a part-time Corporate Development Coordinator to join our small and mighty team in handling many aspects of corporate partnerships, fundraising, and communications through social media. This 20 hour/week position will manage and grow our existing business partnership program as well as contribute to our overall development strategy.
The ideal candidate has a love for Vermont State Parks (a must!), strong communication skills, development or sales experience, attention to detail and a sense of humor. The candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter and can think strategically, prioritize, and work both independently and together with members of our staff and board.
The organization is based in the Montpelier area and a remote-work schedule with flexible hours is offered for this position. In-state travel for meetings is required.

Position Summary
The Corporate Development Coordinator will manage the many details of VPF’s growing business partnerships. It is a critical development role that will also contribute to communications and operations of our growing organization.
Responsibilities
• Manage business partnership program renewals, solicitations, and relationship stewardship including travel for in-person meetings
• Process business donations, partnership agreements, and benefit fulfillment
• Coordinate partnership events as needed
• Assist with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In)
• Participate in operational and fundraising activities and other duties as assigned in a busy nonprofit organization. It’s a team sport!
Qualifications
• A love for Vermont State Parks and passion for helping everyone enjoy them
• Ability to represent VPF professionally and enthusiastically
• Ability to organize and prioritize work with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising or sales experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with social media platforms
• Fundraising database experience with Little Green Light or other software
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly range for this position is $21-$23 per hour. A remote-work schedule with flexible hours is offered for this position.

While this position is primarily remote, it does require regular in-state travel for meetings. The ideal candidate will live within commuting distance of Montpelier. Infrequent evening and weekend work may be required.
